This option generates code combinations of load cases. Open the dialog using either method:
- Click Loads > Automatic Combinations
- Click
.
Options in the previous dialog make the process of defining automatic combinations easier:
- Combinations according to code selection list
This is the same selection list as in the Job Preferences dialog. If in the previous dialog, a code for generating combinations changes, the current regulations in the Job Preferences dialog change as well.
Clicking (...) to the right of the list for selecting code combinations of regulations, launches the editor of code combination regulations Pondedit. This editor has a set of factors and the formula for generating combinations for a selected code.
- None/ Delete option
The default option in the dialog box; if it is activated, combinations are not generated.
- Full automatic combinations option
Selecting this option and clicking OK generates full code combinations after static structure calculations.
You do not need to specify parameters for generating combinations; however, if you want to change the parameters for generating combinations (such as, definitions of groups, relations, and so on), click More. It opens the Load Case Code Combinations dialog with the Full automatic combinations option selected.
- Simplified automatic combinations option
Selecting this option and clicking OK button generates simplified code combinations after static structure calculations.
You do not need to specify parameters for generating combinations; however, if you want to change the parameters for generating combinations (such as, definitions of groups, relations, and so on), click More. It opens the Load Case Code Combinations dialog with the with the Simplified automatic combinations option selected.
- Manual combinations - generate option
Selecting this option starts generating the manual combinations. To continue, click More (OK is not available). It opens the Load Case Code Combinations dialog to start the generation of load combinations.
