Plate and Shell Reinforcement Type - new parameters

产品文档

Plate and shell reinforcement type parameters depend on the selection of the code used during plate and shell design.

Currently available plate and shell reinforcement codes (required (theoretical) reinforcement) include:

  • Eurocode 2 ENV 1992-1-1: 1991 (there are several versions of the code with different National Application Documents).
  • American codes ACI 318/95 and ACI 318/95 metric.
  • British code BS 8110.
  • Canadian code CSA A23.3-94.
  • French codes BAEL91 and BAEL 91 mod. 99.
  • Dutch code NEN6720 (VBC 1995).
  • Spanish codes: EH91, EHE98.
  • Russian code SNiP 2.03.01-84.
  • Romanian code STAS 10107/0-90.
  • Norwegian code NS 3473: 2004.
  • Singaporean code CP65.
  • Chinese code 50010-2002.
  • Japanese code AIJ 1985.

This option is used to define a new reinforcement type and is available by clicking New in the Plate and Shell Reinforcement Type dialog. When selected, a the Reinforcement parameter dialog with three tabs will open.

The General and Reinforcement tabs are the same as for all the other codes, whereas the Materials tab depends on the selected plate and shell reinforcement code (available codes: American, French, Dutch, Polish).

NoteSome RC codes launch the Reinforcement parameters dialog with four tabs. In these cases, the SLS parameters tab is added to calculate cracking and deflections of the plate-shell structure.
