Click
on the toolbar or select Analysis > Analysis Type to allow for a new load case definition (modal analysis, spectral analysis, seismic analysis and others), change the load case type, or modify parameters of a selected load case.
During the load definition within the structure, linear static is attributed to all of the cases. You can change the analysis type to buckling analysis, harmonic analysis or time history analysis. Alternatively, you can create new load cases and perform calculations for analysis types which do not require a predefined static load case (modal or seismic analysis).
The dialog contains six tabs:
- Analysis Types
- Structure Model
- Load to Mass Conversion
- Combination sign
- Result Filters
- Buckling deformation.
Analysis Types tab
The Analysis Types tab displays previously defined load cases. The New, Parameters, Change analysis type, and Delete buttons allow modification of the type and parameters of analysis for a selected single case.
Enter a list of cases in the Case list field or click (...) and select them in the Selection dialog. Operations on a selection of cases are possible thanks to the following buttons:
- Set parameters. Sets parameters of the calculation algorithm of non-linear and buckling analyses.
- Change analysis type. Changes the case type to auxiliary, non-linear or buckling as well as setting the calculation parameters.
- Delete. Deletes cases indicated on the list.
The Calculations (Starts structure calculations for defined load cases) and Close (Closes the Calculation Options dialog box)buttons are at the bottom of the dialog.
