Convertion of ISYbau XML into Revit

Issue:

Is it possible to convert ISYbau XML from ProVI software to Revit? ISYbau XML contains information about position, dimensions and properties of drainage system manholes and pipes.

Causes:

Currently there is no Revit native function neither addon that will create drainage system manholes and pipes families based on ISYbau XML.

Solution:

Consider one of the following methods to load ISYbau XML into Revit:

  1. Load ISYbau XML into Civil 3D using this addon: ISYBAU Translator 2025
  2. Export as solids to DWG and link into Revit:

Use the IFC generated in ProVI software to link it in Revit:  About Linking to IFC Files

Note: In both cases there will be reference objects visible in Revit model, but none of them will be the native Revit family of pipes or manholes.
