Issue:
Users reported that a *.3dm file (from Rhino) cannot be imported to Revit.
Solution:
There are several ways to import data from a Rhino file into Revit:
Rhino to Revit
Rhino to AutoCAD
- Import Rhino *.3dm in AutoCAD.
- Save model as *.dwg.
- Import a CAD file in Revit.
Rhino to SketchUp
- Export the model from Rhino software to .skp file format.
- Import the exported .skp file in the Revit.
SketchUp to DWG
- Open the exported SketchUp file in the SketchUp software.
- Export the file from SketchUp software to .dwg file format.
- Import the exported .dwg file in the Revit.
