Issue:
In Revit, the ReCap Mesh tab is missing or does not work.
Causes:
ReCap Mesh features for Revit are automatically installed as part of the ReCap Pro 2026 installation. Once installed, the add-on is then available in versions of Revit 2023, 2024, 2025 and 2026.
Solution:
To resolve this issue, try the following:
Revit version compatibility
To ensure that the Revit version is compatible with the ReCap add-in version, install the latest updates for Revit.
Update ReCap
Install the latest updates for ReCap Pro and ReCap Photo.
Disable add-ins
Disable all add-ins in Revit except the ReCap add-in and test the issue.
