You cannot locate the Project Browser in the user interface.
Issue: The Project Browser may not be selected for display or may be hidden.
Solution: Try one of the following techniques to display the Project Browser:
- Click View tab
Windows panel
User Interface drop-down
Project Browser.
- Open Control Panel
Display, and make sure that the zoom is set to 100%.
- If you are using dual monitors, the Project Browser may be displaying on the second monitor, but is not visible. Try these steps:
- Change the display to use a single monitor.
- Drag and dock the Project Browser in the Revit window.
- Rest the display to use dual monitors, if desired.
- You can reset the ribbon and other user interface settings by deleting the UIState.dat file.
Note: Deleting this file removes customizations to the ribbon and the Quick Access Toolbar, and restores the default user interface.
- Exit Revit.
- In a Windows browser, navigate to %APPDATA%\Autodesk\Revit\Autodesk Revit 2025 Release\<language>.
- Delete UIState.dat.
- Open Revit.
If none of the above methods resolves the issue, go to forums.autodesk.com, and select Revit from the Browse by product drop-down. From here you can search the forums for more information.
