Learn how to display Roombook data in Revit Schedules.
Add the Roombook specific room quantities to your project
- Click Insert tab
Import panel
Insert from File drop-down
Insert Views from File.
- In the Open dialog, navigate to the Roombook Library.
- Select the schedule template for your project standard and language.
- Click Open.
- In the Insert Views dialog, select the schedules for your project.
- Click OK to import the selected schedules.
- Click Quantities tab

(Calculate Room Quantities).
- In the Calculate Room Quantities dialog, under Generate Project Data per Material, select from the following:
- Generate Project Data per Material. Specifies project data for each surface material in the project will be calculated with the room quantity
- WS - Wall Surfaces (Side Surfaces). Includes wall surface material data.
- FS - Floor Surfaces. Includes floor surface material data.
- CS - Ceiling Surfaces. Includes ceiling surface material data.
- SL - Side Lengths (Room Circumference). Includes room circumference material data.
- FE - Furniture Elements. Includes furniture element material data.
- RQ - All Room Quantities. Includes all specified material data.
Note: Only generate project data if necessary. This has a significant effect on performance and visual clarity of the project due to the many generated Finish IDs. - Click Calculate to update the calculated room quantity data.
- Click OK to close the Calculate Areas dialog. The Roombook schedules now display calculated room quantity data.
