Using the Revit Issues Add-in

View and respond to issues on Revit models.

Note: The Revit Issues Add-In is a separate release from Revit and is not included with the main product. To download the Issues add-In, use https://manage.autodesk.com/home. Currently, Revit Issues Add-In supports Revit 2022-2025 releases only.

The Issues add-in allows you to view and respond to issues within the Revit model, that have been created during review in Autodesk Docs-connected applications. Issues are used by teams to identify and communicate areas of concern or improvement within a model.

Note: A model can be published to Autodesk Docs via Revit Cloud Worksharing, Cloud Models for Revit or Desktop Connector.

To use the Issues add-in, the selected model must be stored in the Project Files folder in the Autodesk Docs module.

In the Autodesk Docs Project Admin module, project administrators can create issue types, sub-types and custom attributes, and control issue permissions. For more information, see the Issues topics in the Autodesk Docs Help.

When you launch Revit and sign in to your Autodesk account, you are granted access to your Autodesk Docs projects.
