Issue:
Autodesk Viewer Mode is missing in Revit 2027. After installing Revit 2027, there is no Viewer Mode shortcut in the Start menu. Creating the shortcut manually does not work, and Viewer Mode cannot be launched.
Causes:
Starting with Revit 2027, Viewer Mode has been removed and is no longer supported.
Solution:
Use one of the following alternatives:
- Autodesk Viewer
Use Autodesk Viewer in a web browser to view, review, and share Revit models without installing Revit. - Shared Views
Publish Shared Views directly from Revit to enable controlled access for collaborators and stakeholders. - Autodesk Forma
Use Autodesk Forma as an AI-native industry cloud, boosting creativity, strengthening collaboration, and driving smarter project outcomes.
