Restore a Backup Version of a Workshared Project

When you have been using Revit LT to revise a workshared project and you want to revert to an earlier saved version of the project, restore a backup.

1. Close the project.
2. In Revit LT, from the Recent Files window, click Manage tabManage Project panel drop-down (Restore Backup).
3. In the Browse for Folder dialog, navigate to the backup folder, and click Open.
4. In the Project Backup Versions dialog, select the version to save.
5. Click Save As, and save the file.
6. Open the restored file and continue your work.

If additional work on the project needs to be performed in Revit:

1. The Revit administrator renames the updated model to its original file name.
2. Revit users create new local copies of the model and resume work.
