    About Matchlines for Dependent Views

    Matchlines are sketch lines that you can add to a view to indicate where a view is split, as shown in the following image.

    You can customize the look of matchlines by editing the line weight, color, and pattern in the Object Styles dialog. You can add view references near a matchline to link views.
