Insert a Detail Component

Use the Detail Component tool to place a detail component in a detail view or a drafting view. A detail component is visible in that view only.

1. Click Annotate tabDetail panelComponent drop-down (Detail Component).
2. From the Type Selector, select the appropriate detail component to place.
3. Press SPACEBAR to rotate the detail component through its different snap points to other elements.
4. Place the detail component in the detail view.
