Revit Home: Navigate to Target Subfolder using View Online You can now directly navigate to a subfolder in the Project Files in Autodesk Construction Cloud. Tech Preview: Seamless Activation of Accelerated Views You have now a faster activation time of the accelerated views by an average of 27%. 2026.2 Release Tech Preview: Crop Accelerated Views Crop rectangular regions in Accelerated Graphics to present your views with the same display as in Revit. Tech Preview: Display Selected Elements as Transparent in Accelerated Views Accelerated Graphics views display transparency for highlighted elements, allowing for better visualization and interaction with your models. Tech Preview: Faster Orbiting in Accelerated 3D Views Performance is improved by an average of 10% when orbiting in Accelerated 3D Views with Crop View on. Set PDF Export in Background as Default Use Export in background as default when you start setting up a new export. 2026.1 Release Keyboard Shortcuts for Placed View and Sheet Commands You can now use keyboard shortcuts for several contextual commands, available for applicable workflows in views or sheets. Revised Double-Click Options Community idea: The Customize Double-click Settings dialog in Options has been adjusted. In-Canvas Section, Elevation, Callout and View Reference Parameter Editing For compatible parameters, you can now modify single or multiline labels for sections, elevations, callouts, and view reference objects directly in the canvas. View Open Command for Placed Views on Sheets Community idea: You can now open one or more placed views directly from a sheet. Select the desired view or views, right-click, then select Open from the contextual list. Tech Preview: Faster Activation of Accelerated Views Performance was improved by an average of 15% when activating the Accelerated Graphics Tech Preview for the current view. Tech Preview: Improved RAM Consumption for Accelerated Views RAM memory usage was optimized by an average of 10%, improving the responsiveness when working with several accelerated views at once. 2026 Release Highlights Tech Preview: Accelerated Graphics Experience a significant navigation performance improvement in 3D and 2D views, helping you review your designs faster. Allow Compound Structure without Core Layers The core layer requirement in compound structures is no longer mandatory, making it easier to delete core layers or move layers outside the core boundary. Toposolid Enhancements Community idea: Toposolid tools have been enhanced including updates to sub-divisions and accuracy improvements. Sheet Collections: Custom Parameters and Schedules Sheet Collection is now available as a category for both Parameters and Schedules. View Reference Enhancements The view references have been enhanced including instance based reference labels and the ability to include shared parameter labels. Customize Layer Priority in a Compound Structure Community idea: You can now customize the layer priority independently from the layer function, from the element type level for all multi-layer elements, including walls, floors, roofs, ceilings, slabs, and toposolids. IFC Link Enhancements Performance and accuracy of placement is greatly improved when linking IFC files. Copy/Paste Shape Editing Community idea: Points and lines used to shape-edit elements, toposolids, roofs, or floors can be copied and pasted. Show Imported CAD Files in the Manage Links Dialog The Manage Links dialog shows the imported DWG, DXF, DGN, SKP, and AXM CAD formats for both projects and families. User Profile Update Reminder A Profile dialog displays the first time you open Revit after it has been installed. It shows questions about the discipline and job role for which you use Revit.
