Menus and Toolbars
Description
The Main Menu together with the Explorer side panel control all aspects of the program usage.
The menu commands vary according to the mode that is currently active. The active mode type is indicated in the status bar at the foot of the main form as either Project, Section or Beam.
Standard toolbars give access to the most relevant main menu commands, and will be displayed according to the active mode type.
Project Toolbars
This comprises the
- File toolbar
- Data toolbar
- Loading toolbar
- Analysis toolbar
- Print and results toolbar
The commands that are active on each toolbar vary according to the stage of data definition so that commands that are dependent upon previous data having been defined are not active until that previous data is complete.
Toolbar items that have a down pointing arrow to the right of the icon can be expanded by clicking on the arrow. The Open an existing file command for example will list 15 recent files followed by 10 recent folders when the down arrow is clicked upon.
