Tutorial: Faucet
In this tutorial, we study water flow through a simplified household faucet. A hot stream and a cold stream enter the faucet, combine in the mixing region, and exit through the outlet.
The CAD model is composed of two solid parts. We will use the Autodesk® CFD Geometry tools to create the internal part for simulating the water. The pipe and mixing divider are made of copper.
We will run flow and heat transfer using Automatic Forced Convection. This automatically transitions between the flow and the heat transfer parts of the analysis.
