To install a Simulation Compute Manager update on Windows

Stop Autodesk Simulation Compute Manager (or the Autodesk Simulation Compute Manager X, where is the major version for SCM 2.0+) service from Windows Services before uninstalling the currently installed version of SCM. To open the Windows Services Manager on your Windows Computer

1. Press Windows + R to open the Run command window.

2. Type services.msc in the Run box, then click OK.

   

3. Windows Service Manager will open.

4. Select the Autodesk Simulation Compute Manager and click Stop.

   

In the Windows Control Panel, locate Autodesk Simulation Compute Manager in the list of programs, and uninstall it by clicking Remove or Uninstall.

1. Press Windows + R to open Run command windows.

2. Type appwiz.cpl in the Run box, then click OK.

3. Programs and Features window will open.

4. Select the Autodesk Simulation Compute Manager and click Uninstall.

   

Download simulation-computeX.msi for Windows, where X is SCM major release, for example simulation-compute2.msi.

Double click the simulation-computeX.msi to start the installer.
