The Creative Review Beta (the "Beta") is the beta release of the Creative Review feature in Flow Production Tracking. Any features made available to You as part of this Beta are Trial Versions subject to the Autodesk General Terms of Use found at "General Terms". Notwithstanding Section 9 of the Autodesk Terms of Use, you may access or use the Trial Version for commercial purposes during your Subscription of our Offerings or, unless earlier terminated, continue until the end of the Trial Version period as determined solely by Autodesk. Autodesk reserves the rights, at its sole discretion, to modify, suspend or terminate Your use of this Trial Version and these Terms at any time for any reason. The use of a Trial Version will be only by You as an individual or, if You are an entity, by one named employee, and the Trial Version may only be used within the Territory where You acquired the Offering. Notwithstanding any other provisions in these Terms, (i) Autodesk makes no commitments with respect to Trial Versions, including any commitment to continue any Trial Version or to convert any Trial Version into an Offering; (ii) Autodesk constantly conducts research to improve our Offerings and makes no commitment that such research will be commercially released in an Offering; and (iii) Trial Versions may contain code that is not fully tested, including errors and faults that may cause total data loss or system failure. What is it?

Creative Review is a new web-based media player for Flow Production Tracking that consolidates the best features of existing media review tools like Create, Screening Room, and the Review Notes app.

Live Review is a feature of Creative Review for collaborative review sessions, and lets users invite other users from their Flow Production Tracking site to participate in real-time reviews. It supports synchronized viewing, annotations, and notes.

What is it used for?

With Creative Review you have access to:

Playback and Review: Playback and review of individual versions on Flow Production Tracking.
Annotations and Notes: Leave annotations and text as notes on the media content.
Attachments: Upload and download attachments to notes.
Reference: Quickly refer to past annotations, attachments, and notes.
Playback Control: Set playback range, zoom, and pan on content for detailed review.
Contextual Review: Open cuts and related versions for context.

Configuring Creative Review

Creative Review is now available to all Flow Production Tracking sites. Before users can start using it, a site admin needs to first enable it.

Note:

An admin can turn on Creative Review without turning on Live Review. Live Review lets users create attended review sessions, but it's optional.

To configure your site to use Creative Review, you must:

Enable Creative Review and Live Review

As an admin, open Apps > Manage Apps
In the Manage Apps page, open the Creative Review configuration menu.
In the Overview tab, enable Creative Review. You can also enable Live Review to let users create shared review sessions.
Close the configuration menu to save the changes.

Select the roles that can use Creative Review and Live Review

As an admin, open Apps > Manage Apps
In the Manage Apps page, open the Creative Review configuration menu.
In the Configure tab, select the roles that can access Creative Review, and those that can create and access Live Review sessions.

Note:

The Live Review permissions define not only who can create Live Review sessions, but also who can access them.
Close the configuration menu to save the changes.

The selected roles can now use Creative Review to view media.

Organize the Flow Production Tracking statuses available in Creative Review

As an admin, open Apps > Manage Apps
In the Manage Apps page, open the Creative Review configuration menu.
In the Statuses tab, organize the statuses. In Creative Review, they appear sorted in the Uncategorized, Upcoming, Active, and Done categories as you assign them here.

Tip:

To manage you site statuses, open Admin menu > Status List.
Close the configuration menu to save the changes.

Set the fields displayed in the Media Information tab

As an admin, open Apps > Manage Apps
In the Manage Apps page, open the Creative Review configuration menu.
In the Fields tab, select and organize the fields that should appear in the Media Information tab in Creative Review.
Close the configuration menu to save the changes.
