Issue:
- How to change the timecode frame rate (FPS) in Flow Production Tracking (formerly known as ShotGrid)
- FPS issue on playing clips as it defaults to 25fps but wanting to match the project specs instead in Flow Production Tracking (formerly known as ShotGrid)
Causes:
Timecode is set to 23.976 FPS by default and can only be changed by the Support Team.
Solution:
Only Flow Production Tracking Support can adjust a site's frame rate. Contact Autodesk Support and mention the desired FPS value and the Flow Production Tracking domain.
Note that Timecode frame rate setting is a site-wide setting; other projects with different frame rates will be affected by this change.
If using DIY Transcoding, consider using the metadata to adjust the frame rate. Creative Review will apply this data.
- If using Flow Production Tracking in conjunction with software like a Digital Content Creation (DCC) application, it may be possible to set different frame rates for individual projects within that software.
