Troubleshooting common issues in Creative Review

Cut framerate mismatch warning

The cut framerate mismatch warning appears whenever a version in a Cut loaded into the player has a different framerate than the cut entity in Flow Production Tracking.

To resolve this alert, load a version with the same framerate as the cut.

This is just a warning, and the player can still play back the versions with correct timing, regardless of the alert.

We're actively working on a solution to handle this issue and will update the documentation accordingly.

Transcode incompatibility warning

This warning appears when the player detects an incompatibility with media transcoded using DIY Transcoding. To ensure seamless playback of content in Creative Review, we're working on addressing any incompatibilities with DIY Transcoding.

In the meantime, you can use Flow Production Tracking transcoding services to ensure full compatibility and accurate metadata, such as fps, frame number, and more.

Troubleshooting Live Review sessions

I can open Creative Review but I don't see the Live Review tab

If you don't see the Live Review tab, it means your site administrator has either turned the feature off for your site, or your role doesn't have permission to use it. You won't be able to create or join Live Review sessions until your administrator enables Live Review and grants you access.

I received a Live Review session link, but Creative Review doesn't load correctly

After clicking a Live Review session link, Creative Review opens to a blank screen and doesn't load any media.

This happens because you don't have access to Creative Review or Live Review. To gain access, ask you site administrator to give your Flow Production Tracking Role access to Creative Review and Live Review.

What happens when the Presenter disconnects?

When the Presenter closes the Creative Review tab or disconnects during an active Live Review session, the Presenter role is automatically reassigned (after a few seconds) to the Viewer whose name appears first in the user list (alphabetically).
