You can customize Internal Resources in the Flow Production Tracking User Menu using Action Menu Items (AMIs).
The Internal Resources menu option will always be visible in the User Menu for Administrators and will only be visible to other users when options are available in that menu for them to see.
Internal Resources leverages the Action Menu Item (AMI) interface and allows for scalability:
- Admins can manage Internal Resources from one centralized place: the Action Menu Item page.
- With permission controls, Admins can restrict internal resources to specified permission groups.
- Filtering, grouping, and sorting capabilities can be applied to the Action Menu Item page to help Admins view information in an organized way.
- Additional fields can be created on Action Menu Items to help track more meta-data when necessary.

Adding Internal Resources
To add Internal Resources to the User Menu, select Add Resource from the User Menu dropdown.
Then, specify the following:
- Title: this will be the name displayed in the Internal Resources menu.
- URL: this is the Internal Resource URL (e.g., internal wiki page, shared document, etc.).
- Configure Menu Options: this should always be set to "Include in Internal Resources section of the User Menu".
- Restrict to Permission Groups: you can restrict Internal Resources to permission groups by specifying the groups that can see them here.
Select Create Action Menu Item. After a refresh, the Internal Resource option that you created will appear in the User Menu under Internal Resources for users in permission groups specified.
Updating and Managing Internal Resources
To update or manage Internal Resources, select the edit icon next to the Internal Resources menu option in the User Menu.
Or, while creating a new Internal Resource, you can also select Manage Action Menu Items.
Here, on the Action Menu Item page, you can create, update, or delete existing Internal Resources.
User Views
Once everything is set by the Admin, users will see the Internal Resources section filled with what their role is permitted to see (with no editing capabilities).
If an Admin adds nothing to the Internal Resources section—or the users do not have permissions to see any Internal Resources—this section will not appear for users.
Limitations
When "Include in Internal Resources section of the User Menu" is configured as the menu option, the following fields on Action Menu Items will not be editable:
- Entity Type
- Folder
- Light Payload
- Open in Modal Overlay
- Poll For Data Updates
- Restrict to Projects
- Selection Required
