    The Takeoff Workflow

    The basic workflow for using Autodesk Takeoff for an estimation project includes the following key tasks:

    1. Create or select a project

    2. Add team members to the project

    3. Configure takeoff settings for the project

    4. Publish files to Takeoff

      • Publish 2D files as sheets
      • Upload 3D models
    5. Create takeoff packages

    6. Perform quantity takeoff

    7. Export takeoff inventory
