Takeoff Viewer
The Takeoff viewer is the workspace for viewing and creating takeoff for your project's published sheets and models. The viewer contains tools like the Sheets & Models panel used for navigating takeoff files, and the Takeoff Types panel used for defining properties of takeoff items.
Important: You must configure takeoff settings before performing takeoff in the viewer.
Access the Takeoff Viewer
- Navigate to the Packages tool from the left navigation in Takeoff.
- Select a package from the Packages list to open the Sheets & Models
panel within the Takeoff viewer. The Sheets & Models panel shows a list of all sheets and models for your project that are available for takeoff.
Click the Takeoff Types
icon at the far left of the page to toggle to the Takeoff Types panel when you are ready to create takeoff types.
