For the DraftMaster and 7600 series plotters, follow the Hewlett-Packard instructions for turning off the monitor mode or turning on the remote mode, stand-alone mode, XON/XOFF handshake, direct mode, full duplex, 7-bit data, and parity settings. Choose settings for zero parity and 9600 baud. Be sure the plotter is in HP-GL/2 emulation mode.
