Overview: Invite new users to Upchain

Adding new users to Upchain involves inviting users to create an Autodesk account, assigning the appropriate licenses to use Upchain, and inviting them to an Upchain tenant assigned to your company.

To complete the full process of adding new users to your Upchain tenant, there must be:

  • An Autodesk Administrator - to create and manage Autodesk accounts and assign licenses.
  • An Upchain Tenant Administrator - to invite users to join Upchain and manage Upchain licenses.
Note: The Autodesk Administrator and Upchain Tenant Administrator may be the same person.

In order for users to begin using Upchain, the following tasks must be completed as listed:

  1. Autodesk Administrator invites a user to create an Autodesk account.
  2. Users create their Autodesk account.
  3. Autodesk Administrator assigns an Upchain license to the user.
  4. Upchain Tenant Administrator invites users to join Upchain.
  5. Users log into Upchain with your Autodesk credentials.
