Download an item's files
You can download an item's model, drawings, documents, and translations individually as required. This is useful for non-CAD users.
Download a model
In the project's BOM (
) section, select the item for which you want to download its model.
Select more actions
> Export > Model.
The Download Files window opens.
Select the version of the parent CAD file you want to download. Select a filter to adjust the CAD file version of the child items. By default, Latest Working is selected.
If the item has children, deselect any items you don't want to download.
Select the box in the drawing column to include any drawings.
Change the file name for the zip file, if desired.
Click Download.
The selected model versions of your items are downloaded.
Download a drawing
In the project's BOM (
) section, select the item for which you want to download its drawing.
Select more actions
> Export > Drawing.
The Download Files window opens.
Select the version of the parent drawing file you want to download. Select a filter to adjust the CAD file version of the child items. By default, Latest Working is selected.
Change the file name for the zip file, if desired.
Click Download.
The selected drawing version of your item is downloaded.
Download a document
In the project's BOM (
) section, select the item for which you want to download its documents.
Select more actions
> Export > Document.
The Download Files window opens.
Select the documents you want to download, then click Download Selected Files.
Select a location on your computer to save the files and click Save.
The selected documents are downloaded.
Download a translation
In the project's BOM (
) section, select the item for which you want to download its translations.
Select more actions
> Export > Translation.
The Translations window opens.
Select the files you want to download, and click Download Selected Files.
Select a location on your computer to save the files and click Save.
The selected translations of your item are downloaded.
