View a manufacturer’s information
All Upchain users may access important information about the manufacturers used by their organization. Additional information, such as manufacturers' points of contact and locations, is available from different access points on the Manufacturers' page. All users may perform the following tasks in the Manufacturer's section of the Profile menu:
- View the manufacturers table
- View additional information about a selected manufacturer
- View a manufacturer's locations
- View a manufacturer's contacts
- View contacts for a specific location
View the manufacturers table
- Click the chevron (
) next to your profile icon to access the user's menu and select Manufacturers.
The Manufacturers page opens.
View additional information about a selected manufacturer
From the Manfacturers page:
Select a manufacturer listed in the table to view more information about the selected manufacturer.
A new page opens and you can view additional information about the selected manufacturer.
View a manufacturer's locations
From the Manfacturers page:
Select a manufacturer listed in the table to view more information about the selected manufacturer.
Select the Locations tab (
).The page lists all locations for the selected manufacturer in a table.
The information displayed in the table includes:
- Name : Name of the manufacturer or the subsidiary,
- City : City name.
- Country : Country name.
- Primary contact : The designated primary point of contact for the location,
- Primary : Flags a specific location as 'primary', and
- View contacts : Quick access to a list of associated contacts for that location.
View a manufacturer's contacts
From the Manfacturers page:
Select a manufacturer listed in the table to view more information about the selected manufacturer.
Select the Contacts tab (
).The page lists all contacts for all locations. Primary points of contact for every location (if appointed) are flagged with a checkmark.
The information displayed in the table includes:
- Name : Name of the point of contact,
- Location: Same as 'Name' for a manufacturer,
- Position : Point of contact's role in the manufacturing company,
- Primary number : Preferred phone number, and
- Primary : Checkmark indicates that the contact is 'primary'.
View contacts for a specific location
From the Manfacturers page:
Select a manufacturer listed in the table to view more information about the selected manufacturer.
Select the Locations tab (
).The page lists all locations for the selected manufacturer in a table.
Select View contacts beside the location for which you want to view its contact information.
The contacts for the location are displayed:
