Investigation requests interface overview
The investigation requests (IR) interface shows a list of all IRs in a project.
- Click the status filters along the top to filter IRs by status.
- Right-click any column heading and select Group by to group IRs by the chosen column value.
- Click Add IR in the top-right corner to create a new IR.
- Click the tabs in the bottom of the interface to navigate to the Requirements, Change requests, Change notices, or Quality assurance interfaces.
Investigation request detail view
Select an IR in the list view to open its detail view, which shows additional information associated with the IR and may contain buttons located near the top of the detail view to move the IR along its workflow.

Details tab
The Details () tab shows an IR's details including its description, status, workflow, type, priority, creator, assignee, and creation date. Click Edit (
) to update these details, then click Save (
).
Documents tab
The Documents () tab lists any documents associated with the selected IR. The information shown includes the document name, type icon, and workflow status.
To upload a document to the IR, click the more actions icon () next to a document category, and select Add document.
To ceate a new subfolder within a document category, click the more actions icon () next to a document category, and select Add folder.
Click the more actions icon () next to a document to perform additional functions on the documents. Click to learn more about documents.
History tab
The History () tab shows the entire history of actions for the selected IR. Click # comment to add a comment to a specific entry in the history. Users with access to the project may view all added comments.
Notes tab
The Notes () tab shows the comments that a decision assignee entered when completing their decision.
Activity tab
The Activity () tab shows any sub-activities associated with the selected IR.
Item tab
The Item () tab shows a preview of the item associated with the selected IR, as well as any related item files.
- Click Download (
) to download associated CAD files.
- Click the CAD thumbnail to open the model in the 3D viewer.
If there is no item associated with the IR, follow the steps below to add one.
- Click Add (
).
- Select the desired item. Note that you may only select items from the current project.
- Click Add.
Markup tab
The Markup () tab shows a list of markups that were created for the associated item in the 3D viewer.
- Click a markup to load it into the 3D viewer.
- If there are no markups listed, click Add (
) to open the model in the 3D viewer and create a markup. Once you are finished creating the markup, click Add new issue markup.
