Check in a document
The changes you make to a document will not be available to your team mates until you check the document back into Upchain. This increments the version number on the document and removes the check out lock.
To check in your document:
Click the chevrons (
) beside the category and folders until you locate the document you have checked out that want to check in.
Beside this document, click more actions (
).
Select Checkin from the drop-down menu.
The Check in document... window opens.
Click Select document to browse for the document you want to check in. Make sure you select the document with the same file name as the one that was checked out.
The new version that will be created upon completion of the check in is shown.
Type a change description into the Comment field.
Click Done.
The document is checked in. The document is saved into Upchain with a new version number. The lock icon next to the document is removed, indicating that you and other users can check out the document again. The new document version and the change description you entered can be seen in the History tab in the document’s details pane.
