iPart item attributes and CAD mappings

CAD mappings configured for certain item attributes apply to both iPart member and factory files.

You may update item attributes for factory and member files in the web app. Then, when the factory file or member file is next checked out, attributes set to write are written to factory and member files accordingly. However, if you update an attribute for member files in the CAD plugin and check in, attributes set to write are not written to the member file.

This is because member files are modified only by modifying the factory file table and not directly in Inventor. This also means that if you have attributes set to be written to the CAD file, attributes written to the factory file may propagate to the member files if it is included in the factory file table.
