Known issues in Upchain 22.1
Overview
This topic describes known issues in Upchain 22.1.
Effective date
- New and improved eBOM calculations are not included in the BOM report.
- The Project dashboard might not reflect the eBOM structure when Effective date is applied.
- Downloading eBOMs, when Effective date is applied to the end-item, takes longer than when other filters are applied.
- When a CAD item is copied and pasted to the eBOM, and Effective date is enabled for the project, the modified structure is not automatically reflected in the cBOM. Currently, the CAD item must be downloaded and manually added to the cBOM.
- When a new version of a component is created after the project's Effective date, if the assembly is opened in the CAD software with the 'Saved eBOM' or 'Working eBOM' filter applied then subsequently applying the Effective date does not pull in the older version of the component, as expected. Instead the assembly includes the new version of the component. As a workaround, make sure you apply the Effective date filter before you open the CAD model.
