Overview
This topic describes known issues in Upchain 22.2.
Restrict users from creating new versions of released items
When a user performs an operation that would create a new version of an assembly that contains restricted item types, the resulting error message is repeated for each restricted item in the assembly.
Inventor’s CAD Plugin: Support for suppressed files
Currently, thumbnails and STEP translations are generated for suppressed components when they shouldn’t be.
DWG and PDF translations are generated in the background after check in
- Immediately after check in, the translations icon
is shown as active in the eBOM table. DWGs and PDFs are listed under BOM > eBOM > selected item details pane > Documents > Specification documents > Translations even if the generation of the DWG and PDF translations are still in progress. Allow some time before accessing the translations otherwise you will receive an error message. - Simplified Chinese does not display correctly in PDF translations.
Business Processes
- *When a Change request (CR) workflow includes a System primitive configured for GPS to create an eDrawing, and if the eDrawing is not generated, then you will need to skip this step in the workflow. Additional logging is included to understand the issue better.
- When viewing the details of a Change request (CR), the creator’s initials are replaced with a missing-image icon for the Creator column in the CR table.
