Workflow
- If a workflow was completed with items left in the Approval Pending state, those items would remain locked and unusable for other change requests. Now, when a workflow is completed, those items are automatically reverted to the state they were in before being submitted to the workflow (for example, Development).
- A message is now shown if a user tries to create an item version without having the necessary permissions.
New item attributes
- Mass Item and Manufacturer Item Description have been added. These both support CAD mapping. Mass Attribute is not reflected in plugin item details views at this point, but can be reviewed in file properties.
- Manufacturer Item Description has the same logic as other common attributes on the web and is available for purchased item types.
General
- Fixed an issue that prevented users from renaming documents after they had been moved from one folder to another.
- Fixed an issue where the download window would not open for large assemblies when using the Effective date filter.
Plugins
SOLIDWORKS:
- Fixed an issue where the plugin would give an
RPC_E_DISCONNECTED
error when downloading the latest version of a file if it was open in a background assembly in the same SOLIDWORKS session. - Fixed an issue where check-in was blocked if a drawing did not have a main model (a model which shares the same name or Upchain Item with a drawing) on the active sheet. Now, users will be able to check in drawing files regardless of whether the sheet with a main model view is active or not, as long as they have at least one such sheet.
CAD:
- Fixed an issue where checked-out files would be overwritten on download of a new version. The plugin now checks if any previous version is already checked-out by the current user, and if the file is present in the home folder, a message will state that file is locked.
- Fixed an issue where the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) number would be cleared after check-in.
- Fixed an issue where check-in of large assemblies would not work due to a Java virtual machine memory limitation.
- Fixed an issue where the BOM item sequence would be lost after check-in.
- Fixed an issue where eBOM attributes would be cleared after check-in.
Localization
- Change Request view for attributes (Spare, Ref Only, Recommended Spare) in German is now displayed correctly.

Task descriptions for these primitives have been limited to 450 characters to comply with database requirements.
- Decision - Type: Quorum
- Decision - Type: Generic
- Task - Type: Generic
- Object Decision - Type: Associate Multi Item Attribute
- Object Decision - Type: Associate Multi Required Files
As Saved = Latest Working system primitive: Performance of stale cBOM detection has been improved and some missing use cases resolved.
Fix stale cBOM system primitive: Stale drawings were not being updated.
Change requests: Allowance for special characters in item names has been improved.
Fixed an issue where all users were included in quorum decisions instead of only active users.
Tenant properties
enable.manufacturer.on.all.item.types
: Fixed an issue where, with this property enabled, Manufacturer, Manufacturer Item Number, and Manufacturer item description were editable in the item details page on the web. These fields must always be disabled when they have READ CAD mapping defined.allow.create.item.for.suppressed.files
: when enabled, SOLIDWORKS assemblies, with suppressed files, will have matching cBOM and eBOM structures and quantities. If disabled, then items are not created for the suppressed part, and cBOM and eBOM will not have matching quantities.
BOM
- Import of an eCAD item was blocked if it had the same Manufacturer and Manufacturer item numbers. Now this is allowed if eBOM item attributes are not the same.
- Fixed an issue where you could not clear locks under My Locked Objects.

Plugins
CAD:
- Fixed an issue where categorization was modifiable for released and obsolete items.
- Improved some translations and added previously missing ones.
Creo:
- Fixed an issue where the check to see if the VBI API was registered for the installed Creo version was not working. Because of this, users would not be informed why the plugin couldn't connect to Creo.
Inventor:
- Fixed an issue where item attribute mapping would prevent creation of items.
Generic:
- Documents edited in DraftSight can now be imported and released without issues.
Workflow
- Inactive users can no longer be assigned to tasks in primitives.
- A line-break HTML artifact after the Notification primitive will no longer trigger notifications.
New tenant properties
disable.edit.of.manufacturer.details
. When enabled, an item ERP number cannot be edited. If an ERP number exists, the Manufacturer name and Manufacturer item number also cannot be edited.
Localization
- Korean interface is now supported
