This topic describes What's New in Upchain 22.3 major service update. In between major service updates, Upchain deploys weekly minor updates to address any critical issues reported by our customers.

Upgrading the CAD Plugin

You may upgrade your CAD Plugin to 22.3 to receive the newest capabilities. Upchain Web 22.3 is backward compatible with the CAD Plugin version 22.2. The latest version of the Upchain CAD Connector is available for download on the Plugins page immediately following the service update made to the maintenance window.

Highlights

Manage CC files from Inventor's project folder

Content Center files are managed from the project folder to ensure a single source of truth for a more intuitive collaboration experience.

Enhanced support for Inventor's suppressed components

More core operations recognize suppressed components for easier management and enhanced data integrity.

Increased visibility and tracking when Clear lock feature is used

Allowing Tenant Admins to unlock items has greatly reduced the number of data fixes related to locks. We added email notifications and tracking whenever this feature is used.

Better insight into the status of autogenerated visualizations

New error messages clearly state the status of autogenerated visualizations (STEP, STL, and PNG) for greater visibility.
