Manage Cloud Drive Mappings for Project Sync
Create, edit, or delete a cloud drive mapping for Project Sync.
Add a Cloud Drive Mapping
In Vault Client, select Tools menu > Administration > Vault Settings.
In the Vault Settings dialog box, select the Collaborate tab.
In the Project Sync Management section, click Configure.
Click New to create a cloud drive mapping.
The Cloud Drive Mapping - New Label opens.
Enter a name for the mapping.
Browse to the Vault folder you want to map to a cloud drive.
Browse to the cloud drive.
Check Enable Manual Sync to allow manual uploading or downloading for this cloud drive mapping.
Check Include design documentation files to automatically include design documentation for both manual and scheduled syncs.
If you want to give preference to files that have a Released version, check Upload Files based on Released bias.
Optional: you can schedule automatic syncing as described in Manage Cloud Drive Folder Mappings for Project Sync.
Edit a Cloud Drive Mapping
In Vault Client, select Tools menu > Administration > Vault Settings.
In the Vault Settings dialog box, select the Collaborate tab.
In the Project Sync Management section, click Configure.
Select an existing cloud drive mapping and click Edit.
The Cloud Drive Mapping - New Label opens.
Schedule automatic syncing as described in Manage Cloud Drive Folder Mappings for Project Sync.
Delete a Cloud Drive Mapping
In Vault Client, select Tools menu > Administration > Vault Settings.
In the Vault Settings dialog box, select the Collaborate tab.
In the Project Sync Management section, click Configure.
Select an existing cloud drive mapping, click Delete, and confirm the removal.
The cloud drive mapping, along with any specific folder mappings and sync settings are removed.
Delete a Folder Mapping
- In Vault Client, select Tools menu > Administration > Vault Settings.
- In the Vault Settings dialog box, select the Collaborate tab.
- In the Project Sync Management section, click Configure.
- Select an existing cloud drive mapping and click Edit.
- Select the folder in the Mapping section.
- Click X.
