Troubleshooting: Data Management Services

Issue
When trying to connect and log into a Vault Server, the following error is displayed:
"<Productname>...could not find the Data Management Services on...<servername>"
The error message can be displayed using Internet Information Server (IIS) Server Certificate (SSL), or using the following software:
- Vault Basic
- Vault Professional
- Inventor, AutoCAD, Revit, Civil 3D, Plant 3D, ...or any other CAD addin.
- Word, Excel, PowerPoint
- Autodesk Data Management Server Console
Solution
The error may appear if a major Windows Update on the Vault Server has recently occurred.
Repair the installation of Vault Server using the instructions in the article Repairing, Uninstalling and Reinstalling the Vault Server software.
