Simple searches are the most common kind of search in the Vault mobile app. They filter results based on the name of an object (for example, the name of a file or a change order ID).
Select the search bar to display a keyboard for performing simple searches. The tab you are viewing determines the contents of your search: For example, searching in the Items tab returns item objects.
Select the sort icon
to change the setting for simple searches.

Search entire Vault: When enabled, performs search in all the workspaces in the vault.
- Search in subfolders (Project Explorer tab): When enabled, search results include files in the current folder and files and folders (subfolders) that are nested in the current folder. This option is available only if the Search entire Vault option is disabled.

Search file content: When enabled, performs search within the file.
