Cluster Preferences

In the Menu Bar, click Edit > Preferences, then on the left side of the dialog box, select Rendering > Cluster. After making any changes, press Apply and Save to save them.

Configuration

This section contains options for setting the cluster client defaults for config files.

  • Default Config File - Set the root of the configuration file (XML) for cluster setup. The default file and other sample files are found in the cluster subfolder of the VRED installation folder.

License Check Out

This section contains options for setting the cluster client defaults for consumption-based licenses and licenses for the host.

  • Check Out All Licenses From This Host - When cluster nodes do not have network access to the license server, the number of required licenses are checked out from the host where VREDPro is running.

Render Settings Cluster

Enable cluster mode and enter hostnames to be used to render the scene. The default is localhost.
