Managing Meeting Participants

Invite Others to Your Workshop

Any Project Member from your ACC project can be added to your workshop so that you can meet in XR together.

  1. In the Workshop XR web app, select any workshop to open its details panel.

  2. Click the vertical 3 dots next to the name of the Workshop you are adding members to.

  3. Select Permissions Settings.

  4. A details panel will open up where you can see who is already added and what their permissions are. Click the + Add button.

  5. In the pop-up, you can search for anyone within your project to add to this specific Workshop or add an email. This is also where you can select the member’s permission level.

  6. Click Add.

Note: The ability to create, edit, and manage issue data within any workshop is dictated by a user's Issue Permissions in ACC, not their permission level within the workshop. Learn more about ACC Issue Permissions here.


Mute Other Participants

When in a workshop, it can get noisy with everyone talking and excited about the space. Admins can mute all participants to help the design review flow properly.

  1. Open the People Console.

  2. Next to the Admin’s name, click mute all.

Participants will be able to unmute themselves at any time.


Moving Around Together

Using the Go to User Tool

During a design review, you may need to go to another user's location in VR:

  1. Open Core Menu: Near the bottom of the field of view.
  2. Select the People Button: Represented by icons of two people.
  3. Find the user in the People menu.
  4. Click the Go To button.

Initially, you will be in a People Stack with the other user. As you move around, avatars will reappear.


Using the Gather Tool

This tool is tied to workshop-level permissions. The user must be an admin to be able to gather all users to their location.

To bring all users to your location:

  1. Open Core Menu: Near the bottom of the field of view.
  2. Select the People Button: Near the middle of the Core Menu.
  3. Click the Gather All button.

All users will initially be in the People Stack. As participants move, they leave the People Stack and avatars will return.
