Why's My Model Flashing (Z-fighting)

Z-fighting occurs when two or more surfaces are close enough together that Workshop XR’s rendering system is unable to accurately determine which one to show, resulting in a flickering effect.

As we continue to improve Workshop XR, Z-fighting may be reduced further than what you are currently experiencing. However, here are a few helpful tips to help reduce it:

• Inspect the Model in Revit or Navisworks: Identify and adjust overlapping or duplicate elements.

• Adjust Model Scale: Make sure your model is appropriately scaled to improve depth accuracy.

• Clean Up Geometry: Remove or correct any duplicate or intersecting faces using cleanup tools in Revit or Navisworks.
