Welcome to the Autodesk help center! In this article, you will learn how to add or change a model in Autodesk's immersive design and collaboration tool, Workshop XR.

Uploading and Managing Models in ACC

The first step in this process is to upload and manage your models in Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC). Once your models are uploaded, they will immediately be accessible in Workshop XR. Adding Files on Workshop XR Desktop

Before entering the headset, you can easily add files to your workshop:

  1. Go to Workshop.autodesk.com.

  2. Select the project you wish to access the files on.

  3. Select the workshop you would like to add files to.

  4. Next, a details panel will open; click “From Files”.

  5. Select your desired file, and click ‘add’.

Accessing Your Models in Workshop XR

When you enter Workshop XR, you can easily locate all files associated with your project:

  1. Open the Files Console. To access your files, click on the Files icon located on the Core Menu.

  2. The Files Console will promptly open up.

  3. Select your model. Within the Files Console, you will see a list of all your uploaded files. Simply select the model you wish to view by clicking on the “Share To” icon shown below.

Congratulations, you're now ready to review your design in Workshop XR!

Workshop XR offers you the capability to review, edit, and collaborate on your designs in a dynamic and immersive environment. With the ability to easily add or change models, you can streamline your design review process and foster better collaboration within your team.
