To import or open Fusion files in AutoCAD:
- Export the file from Fusion to DWG or DXF, which can both be opened directly in AutoCAD products (see How to export a Fusion design to a DWG or DXF file).
- Export the file from Fusion to an intermediary format, for example STEP or IGES. The intermediary file format can then be imported into AutoCAD products (see How to export specific bodies in a file to a STEP file and Importing a STEP file into AutoCAD Products).
Note: AutoCAD LT is 2D only, so 3D format import is not available.
