What file formats can be exported from Fusion?
Solution:
The following formats are available under File > Export:
Solid
- F3D - native Fusion 360 file type, only file type that preserves Timeline information. Assemblies are saved as F3Z (zip) files
- IGES
- SAT
- SMP
- STEP
Mesh
- FBX
- OBJ
- STL
Note: STL is also available by right clicking the design name in the Fusion 360 browser and selecting Save as STL.
2D
- DWG
- DXF
Note: DXF is also available by right clicking a sketch in the browser and selecting Save as DXF.
