Engrave toolpath does not generate for single line text in Fusion

Issue:

When using the Engrave toolpath on single line text in Fusion Manufacture, the toolpath either doesn't generate at all or will only generate for some letters.

Causes:

The Engrave toolpath requires a closed profile to generate. Some single line text may generate if the shape creates a closed profile, such as the letter "O".

Solution:

Use Trace to engrave single line text onto a flat surface

Create text by using any of the SHX font styles in the Design environment.
- Create a sketch.
- Click the Create menu.
- Select the Text command.
When finished typing your text, click Finish Sketch.
Switch to the Manufacture environment.
Create a Setup.
Go to Milling > 2D > Trace.
In the Trace dialog, select a chamfer mill tool.
On the Geometry tab, select the text.
On the Passes tab, enter the required value in Axial Offset.
Check the Axial Offset passes, enter the required value in Maximum Stepdown and Number of stepdown.
Click OK.
