You want to know how to export an STL file from an imported mesh file. This differs a bit from the process of creating an STL file from a body within Fusion 360.Environment:

- Open a new blank design in Fusion.
- Go to the Insert Menu, select Insert Mesh and open the mesh file.
- Make any modifications necessary.
- Go to the browser tree and expand the bodies folder until you see the mesh body.
- Right-click the Mesh body and select Save as STL.
