Issue:
How to register for Fusion for Personal Use.Solution:
- Fusion for Personal Use license is intended for individuals with non-commercial personal design projects, and home-based, non-commercial manufacturing and fabrication. If you start Fusion and you see a message stating that you are in a 30-day commercial Trial, this is by design to allow you to experience Fusion's full capabilities. You will need to wait for the 30-day trial to expire, before Fusion will switch to the limited Personal Use license. There is no need to reinstall Fusion in this scenario.
- The Personal Use license can be renewed up to 30 Days before its expiration. For more information on how to renew your Personal Use license, see How to renew a Personal license or access the Startup program for Fusion.
- To register for a personal license:
- Go to the Fusion for Personal Use home page.
- At the bottom of the “Autodesk Fusion for personal use” column, select Get Autodesk Fusion for personal use.
- Sign in to your Autodesk Account. If you don't have an Autodesk Account, select Create Account.
- After you sign in, complete the following form and select Next once completed.
- Select DOWNLOAD NOW to activate and download Fusion for Personal Use.
- If the previous steps are not successful, try on a different browser (Chrome, Edge,...)
Note:
- Allow up to 30 minutes before signing into Fusion after selecting Download Now to give enough time for the license to be granted.
- If Fusion is already installed, you must click Download Now for the license to be granted. However, Fusion does not need to be reinstalled.
