Issue:
Users reported that Fusion closes unexpectedly or freezes (the "Not responding" notification may appear) during the following operations:
- Opening drawings.
- Working in Drawing environment, for example, creating a view.
- While working on drawing file with some design files open.
It may happen that the operating system closes unexpectedly.
Solution:
Check following:
- Confirm that the hardware meets the Fusion requirements. See System requirements for Autodesk Fusion.
- Make sure to run the latest automatic updates of Fusion: How to check for updates in Fusion.
- Make sure that the drawing is updated: Update drawing views.
- Update the graphics drivers. See:

- For Windows OS, test selecting DirectX 9 as the Graphics Driver in the Preferences of Fusion.
- Configure Fusion to use high-performance graphics. See: How to configure Autodesk software to use high-performance graphics.
- Repair Fusion from the Service Utility.
- Try updating Visual C++ Redistributable.
- Try Switching Graphics preset to Performance in Preferences
