Share or export the Bill of Materials

Share a link to the Bill of Materials:

You can share a link to the Bill of Materials with other members of the hub, provided they have at least Viewer access to the design.

1. At the top right of the Bill of Materials, click Copy Link .

2. In the dialog that opens, click Copy.

3. Send the copied link to anyone you want to share the Bill of Materials with.

   When a recipient opens the link, the Bill of Materials opens in the Fusion web client.

   Note: If the design contains referenced components that the recipient doesn't have access to, they won't be visible in the Bill of Materials; see Resolve external components.

Export the Bill of Materials:

You can download the Bill of Materials to your device as a local file. The entire Bill of Materials will be downloaded, regardless of any items that might be selected.

1. At the top right of the Bill of Materials, click Export BOM .

2. From the drop-down menu that opens, select a file format (such as .csv).

   A message opens in the Fusion Notification Center indicating that the export process has started. When this finishes, another notification opens containing a Download file link.

3. Click Download file.

   The file is downloaded to your device's downloads folder.
