Manage configurations

Manage Configured Components and their external components from the Manage tab in Fusion.

1. Open a Standard Design that contains at least one Configured Component.

2. On the toolbar, click the Manage tab.

   The Manage toolbar shows.

3. Use the Assign > Assign Item Number tool to assign an item number to a configured component or its external components.

4. Use the Manage > Release tools to release items:

   • Quick Release
   • Release with CO: Release an item with a change order.

5. Use the Process Management tools to manage the item throughout its lifecycle:

   • Use the Dashboard tool to view and modify your Fusion Manage information, such as charts and outstanding work.
   • Use the Details tool to view the part descriptor of a design item.
   • Use Change Orders to view or modify a change order affecting a design item.
