Change Addlevel settings

The Addlevel settings determine how gates are fetched into the schematic.

In the canvas

1. In an open Electronics library, in the Content Manager, double-click the component to open it in the canvas.

2. In the canvas, right-click the gate to open the contextual menu.

3. In the contextual menu, select Properties to to open the Properties dialog.

4. In the Properties dialog, click the down arrow associated with Add Level to view and change the Addlevel settings:

   • Next
   • Must
   • Always
   • Can
   • Request

5. When you have completed your selection, click OK to accept it close the dialog.

From the toolbar

1. In an open Electronics library, on the Device toolbar, click (Modify > Change) to activate the Change tool.

2. In the contextual menu associated with the Change tool, click Addlevel to view the contextual menu.

3. In the contextual menu select the Addlevel:

   • Next
   • Must
   • Alsways
   • Can
   • Request

4. (Optional) Select another gate to change its Addlevel settings.

5. Press esc on your keyboard to exit the tool.
